Ankle pain while running?

Last year, I sprained my ankle very badly, and I could not walk on it for about 2 months. When I fully recovered from this injury, I began to run again. At first I took it easy (1/2 mile a day), and gradually built up to 4 miles a day. Now and then I also experince some pain in my ankle, and when I do, I plan a lighter workout. I suggest that you rest it a bit more and gradully work up to your desired workout. If the pain continues, I recommend that your see your doctor and ask him/her about physical therapy, because it can really strenghten your ankle. Good Luck and I hope your ankle feels better :)
