How can I fix my bent/ crinkled eyelashes?

My left eye (lashes) are long and curl naturally and are wonderful, but on my right eye the lashes are crinkled and when i put mascare on they just curl completely around (like a tube shape). Any suggestions on how to get them to UNcurl??
