AIT and army wives?

My husband went into basic training as a Private First Cl.(E3) He's supposed to be gone for about four months, but I received a call from him- he said that people have told him that after nine weeks that I can go up and live with him when he's at AIT training- is it true? Instead of waiting four months to go to his graduation can I see him sooner than that if he asks permission? Come on, army wives and army men, help a sista out! lol
