Limewire wont install on my mac book?

I had it on my old mac and I can't get it on my new one. I click on the Mac OS X version to download (it is the correct version all the numbers match for version number). the dmg shows up on my desktop. I click on it then the limewire install box pops up saying to double click on the "install LimeWire.app. I do and nothing happens. I drag it to the app folder and try again. Nothing happens. I miss my music. please help.
